I work at FRESHFARM. We’re a food systems non-profit based in Washington, DC that manages a wide network of farmers markets, operates extensive food distribution and food access programs, and provides food and nutrition education in DC public schools.
We’re working on major giving campaign that aims to raise close to $1M over 3 years. The funds will be used to build our organizational capacity (grow the development team, enhance our technology, build career paths in food access).

Also, it may be a matter of nomenclature but are you sure you don’t have an additional $1M in your regular support (annual fund) file? What may be a major gift for your org would be an annual fund at another…
